Southern Nevada and Clark County
Southern Nevada plumbing amendments require grease interceptors for commercial kitchens and grease-bearing fixtures. Interceptors must be sized using Uniform Plumbing Code Table 10-3, kept accessible for inspection and cleaning, and located outside unless the health district approves another location. The Clark County food-service submittal checklist requires sizing calculations.
Henderson
Henderson publishes a local grease-interceptor installation detail, P-106 under the 2024 codes. Use the city’s plumbing-information and plan-review process for installation.
Reno
Reno Environmental Control administers an industrial pretreatment program for commercial sewer users, including restaurants using grease interceptors.
